Barcelona are willing to sell Tottenham Hotspur target Memphis Depay in the summer transfer window, according to Sport.

Sport have reported that with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang banging in the goals for fun at the moment, Depay is now looking surplus to requirements at Barcelona.

The report in the Spanish news outlet has claimed that Barcelona are willing to cash in on Depay, a player they signed on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.

Spanish journalist Gerard Romero claimed on Twitch this month that Tottenham have already made an offer for the former Manchester United forward.

Memphis Depay report encouraging for Tottenham Hotspur

In our opinion, Barcelona reportedly willing to sell Depay is good news for Tottenham.

This means that Spurs will find it easier than usual to start talks with Barcelona.

Now, of course, the Blaugrana will have a certain number in mind in terms of the transfer fee they would want.

But, in our opinion, it is unlikely to be massive given that Barcelona signed Depay on a free and he is 28 now.

Depay has scored 10 goals and provided two assists in 15 La Liga starts for Barcelona so far this season.
