Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will want at least €18 million (£14.99 million) for Granit Xhaka amid interest from Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The report in the Italian publication has claimed that Roma wanted to sign Xhaka last summer, and that Arsenal wanted €18 million (£14.99 million).
The Gunners will not settle for anything less than €18 million (£14.99 million) for the 29-year-old midfielder who cost them £30 million in transfer fees when they signed him from Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer of 2016 (Sky Sports).
Arsenal should demand more for Granit Xhaka
In our opinion, Arsenal should ask for more than the £15 million they are reportedly looking for Xhaka.
Selling the Switzerland international for £15 million would mean Arsenal taking a loss of £30 million.
Xhaka is 29 now and is at the top of his game at the moment.

Moreover, the Swiss is a regular player in the Arsenal starting lineup.
The Arsenal no. 34 has played 17 Premier League games so far this season, and made 29 starts in the league in 2020-21.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will surely want a suitable replacement if Xhaka leaves, and that will cost the Gunners more than £15 million.
Much much more.
