Juventus star Juan Cuadrado has praised Liverpool winger Luis Diaz on Instagram after he scored for Colombia against Bolivia in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
Diaz, who joined Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool from FC Porto in the January transfer window, helped Colombia to a 3-0 win against Bolivia at Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez in Barranquilla.
The 25-year-old winger opened the scoring in the 39th minute.
Colombia are now sixth in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification (CONMEBOL) standings with 20 points from 17 matches.
Liverpool star Diaz and his Colombia teammates cannot directly qualify for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar, but they can still end up fifth and advance to 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification (inter-confederation play-offs).
Diaz has posted the following message on Instagram, and his Colombia international teammate and Juventus ace Cuadrado, who can play as a winger or as a wing-back, has described him as a “crack” (“ace”).

The Colombian wrote, as translated from Portuguese: “grateful to God 🙏🏻 and to all the people who joined us means that they believe just like us. with faith intact.”
Praise for Liverpool and Colombia’s Luis Diaz
In our opinion, Diaz is going from strength to strength, both for Liverpool and Colombia.
The 25-year-old is a goal machine who has hit the ground running at Liverpool and could be a big player in their quest to win the Premier League and the Champions League this season.
