Bobby Zamora has said on Stadium Astro that West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice would be a good signing for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool as a potential replacement for Jordan Henderson
The former West Ham striker believes that Rice, who can also operate as a defender, is good enough to play for Liverpool, and believes that he could eventually replace his England international teammate Henderson at Anfield.
Henderson is 31 now and has a contract at Liverpool until the summer of 2025.
Zamora said about Rice’s potential next club on Stadium Astro: “Maybe Liverpool. Henderson’s replacement possibly.”
Could Declan Rice leave West Ham for Liverpool?
In our opinion, Rice is not going to leave West Ham for Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool do have a strong midfield department, and we do not think that manager Jurgen Klopp will make a move for the 23-year-old now.

However, you never know what could happen in the next two or three years.
Rice is 23 now, and if West Ham do not continue to push and regularly finish in the Premier League top four, then in the next few years he could leave.
Henderson remains at the top of his game, but in the next two or three years, Liverpool will have to start thinking of replacing him.
Maybe, just maybe, Rice could then come into the picture.
