Lyon head coach Peter Bosz has praised David Moyes’s West Ham United, as quoted on RMC Sport.
French club Lyon will take on Premier League outfit West Ham in the quarter-finals of the Europa League this season.
The two legs will be held next month.
Ahead of the tie, Lyon boss Bosz has described West Ham as a “good” team.
RMC Sport quotes Bosz as saying about West Ham: “West Ham are a good team, but there are only good teams in the quarter-finals. When you are 6th in the Premier League, it’s not bad. We are 10th in Ligue 1.”
West Ham United could beat Lyon
In our opinion, West Ham have what it takes to win against Lyon in the quarter-finals of the Europa League this season.
We know that Lyon are regulars in European competitions and have more experience.
The Ligue 1 club also have quality players such as Moussa Dembele and Tanguy Ndombele.
However, we think that West Ham can overcome Lyon.
The Hammers have quality footballers such as Declan Rice and Michail Antonio, and having come thus far in the competition, they will have more belief and confidence in themselves.
The London Stadium faithful were massive against Sevilla, and the West Ham fans will have to play their role in the team’s quest to win against Lyon.
