Jamie Carragher has raved about Leeds United forward Joe Gelhardt on Sky Sports Premier League (10:39pm, March 14, 2022) following his heroics against Norwich City at Elland Road at the weekend.
Leeds got the better of Norwich 2-1 at home in the Premier League on Sunday.
Gelhardt, 19, scored the winner in the fourth minute of injury time.
Former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Carragher was impressed by Gelhardt’s heroics and has praised him.

Carragher said about Gelhardt: “He is a special, special talent. He will be remembered for this big goal, but I assure you we will be talking about him a lot in a few years’ time.”
Big talent
In our view, Gelhardt is a big talent and will only get better at Leeds in the coming years.
The teenager showed remarkable maturity and cool in front of the Norwich goal to score deep into injury time.
The win has enhanced Leeds’s chances of retaining their Premier League status for next season.
This is not the first time that Sky Sports pundit Carragher has praised Gelhardt, and it will not be the last.
As reported by The Sun, Leeds paid Wigan Athletic £1 million for the teenager in the summer of 2020.
Gelhardt has made two starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leeds so far this season.
The Leeds no. 30 has scored two goals and provided one assist in those games.
