Bayern Munich and Serge Gnabry are still ‘far apart’ over a new contract and the reported Liverpool and Tottenham transfer target knows Barcelona and Real Madrid are interested.
That’s according to Sky Germany, who claim Der FCB are yet to make Gnabry an offer close to his demands. The Bundesliga outfit are desperate to sign the German to a new deal with his current terms expiring in 2023 for fear he could leave Bavaria for nothing next year.
Negotiations between the Allianz Arena hierarchy and Gnabry’s camp have persisted for a few months. Bayern remain optimistic he will put pen to paper on a long-term extension. But the forward remains calm and will not rush into a decision as he knows clubs are keen.

Gnabry would have his choice of elite sides to join were the former Arsenal talent to leave Bayern Munich. He knows multiple top clubs would court his services if they are available, with La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona showing the most concrete interest as yet.
The Spanish heavyweights will continue to monitor Gnabry’s negotiations with Bayern over a new contract ahead of the next window. Der FCB could look to cash in this summer with a discount deal to avoid their €8m (£6.5m) 2017 signing from Werder Bremen going for free.
Liverpool, Tottenham target Gnabry knows Barcelona, Real Madrid want him
Gnabry knowing Barcelona and Real Madrid are interested in a transfer may dent Liverpool and Tottenham’s hopes of a deal with Bayern Munich. Sky Germany cited the Reds as one of the German’s suitors with the La Liga powerhouses and Manchester United last month.

Additionally, Bild added Spurs into the mix for the three-time Bundesliga champion later in February. The 26-year-old – who Rio Ferdinand calls ‘world-class’ – has several suitors after scoring 12 goals and assisting nine in 33 games across all competitions so far this season.
