Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Jurgen Klopp has been full of praise for Jarrod Bowen.
It’s nothing new hearing Bowen receive praise. The winger has played some excellent football this season and he’s, rightly, received a lot of credit.
However, what is notable is that Klopp has labelled him an ‘unbelievable player’ amid ongoing transfer links to Liverpool.
Indeed, the Reds are reportedly very keen on Bowen, and Klopp is certainly a fan.
What’s been said?
Klopp had nothing but good things to say about Bowen.
“Bowen, what a player he’s become. Unbelievable. We saw him as well at Hull and he was really good, but I’m not sure many people expected this jump, he’s an unbelievable player,” Klopp said.
Fuel to the fire
As if there wasn’t already enough transfer speculation around Bowen and Liverpool.
These comments from Klopp will only add fuel to that fire. The German is clearly a big fan of the West Ham winger, and to be honest, we can’t blame him for admiring Bowen.
The attacker is exactly the type of player Liverpool need if they ever want to replace Mohamed Salah. He’s quick, intelligent and a great finisher.
Whether or not Liverpool move for Bowen remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure, Klopp really likes this player.
