Mergim Vojvoda has told Tottenham Hotspur exactly why they should sign Gleison Bremer in the summer transfer window, after singing the praises of his Torino teammate to DAZN.
Vojvoda has played beside Bremer at the Olympic Grande Torino Stadium since 2020, with the pair featuring 39 times together. He joined the Serie A side two-years after Bremer had moved to Italy from Atletico Mineiro in his native Brazil.
Bremer is the rock of the Toro defence and continues to shine in manager Ivan Juric’s plans this season. Vojvoda has also seen vast improvements from the centre-half and feels those gains follow the 24-year-old’s work off the pitch.

Bremer is establishing himself among Serie A’s best centre-halves, having twice dominated top-scorer Dusan Vlahovic this term. The 6 ft 2 star rarely allowed the €70m (£58m) striker chances to add to his 20 goals during meetings with Fiorentina then Juventus.
His stellar showings have put clubs from around Europe on alert, having only extended his contract to 2024. Tuttosport reporter Camilo Forte recently told TuttoMercatoWEB that Tottenham, plus Liverpool, Manchester United and City, are tracking Bremer for a transfer.
Vojvoda hopes Torino keep Gleison Bremer amid Tottenham interest
Vojvoda hopes Torino can keep Bremer this year against transfer interest from clubs like Tottenham. Il Toro are not entirely against a sale, however, as Tuttosport report president Urbano Cairo has set a €40m (£33m) price and hopes Premier League bids increase the fee.
Additionally, Calciomercato report Bremer has already agreed to join Inter Milan at the end of the season. The defender also only extended his contract by 12-months on the promise that Cairo does not price him out of a move should Torino receive suitable summer offers.

Vojvoda’s praise for his Torino teammate tells Tottenham exactly why they should target a summer transfer for Bremer, though. As while he is already very impressive and stunned the Kosovo right-back straight away, the Brazilian still has a lot of room to develop further.
“[Bremer] is very strong, an animal,” Vojvoda said, as quoted by TuttoMercatoWEB. “He has made an incredible leap in quality in the last year. But he can still improve a lot because he is young. He has renewed, we hope he stays because he is really strong.
“Physically, he is strong. He works hard and as soon as I arrived, I was impressed by how much he trained. He is also fast, he is tall and has made a great leap in quality on a technical level, with the ball at his feet. Work pays off, you can see it with him.”
