Gleison Bremer has dented Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur’s reported transfer hopes, as the Torino defender has already said yes to joining Inter Milan, according to Calciomercato.
The Nerazzurri have held talks with the Brazilian’s representatives in recent months as they outline their future spending. Sporting director Piero Ausilio has led their bid as they strive to strengthen the San Siro backline. Even though they have Serie A’s second-best unit now.
Talks between Inter Milan and Bremer’s agent even begun ahead of the 2021/22 campaign sensing his stock could skyrocket. He has since continually proved to be among the Italian top-flight’s best defenders and has shut out Juventus’ €70m (£58m) Dusan Vlahovic twice.

Torino risked having to sell Bremer on the cheap this summer despite his standout Serie A showings this season. The 24-year-old was set to be out of contract in 2023, but extended his terms by a year earlier this month. Yet he did not do so without securing assurances.
Calciomercato now claim Bremer sought guarantees from Torino that they would not ask for unrealistic fees to sell this summer. And it is for this reason that rival interest has not scared Ausilio yet. But rival offers from the Premier League may yet force a bidding war.

Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester United and City are also interested in securing a transfer with Torino for Bremer. That’s according to Tuttosport reporter Camilo Forte, who recently told TuttoMercatoWEB that the Premier League quartet are keeping close tabs on his form.

Newcastle also explored Bremer’s services with a €30m (£25m) bid in January, per Corriere Granata. But any side wishing to prise the centre-half from Il Toro faces a €40m (£33m) fee, per Tuttosport, and Torino may yet use English offers to strengthen their asking price still.
Bremer is not putting Torino in a position where they could have to accept lesser offers, as well. He has left Fabrizio Romano in awe so far this season, dubbing him ‘really incredible’.
