AC Milan have reportedly made a move to sign Tottenham target Andrea Belotti, with the Italian international keen on joining the Serie A giants.
According to SportItalia via GIFN, the Rossoneri have made contact with the Torino captain over a potential move in the summer, with Belotti’s contract expiring at the end of this season.
The 28-year-old has been one of the most consistent goalscorers in Italy over the past few seasons, with multiple clubs, now including Milan, eyeing a move for Belotti as we head into the summer window, with Tottenham one of those teams.
Tuttosport reported in November that the north London club were keen on signing Belotti in the January window. Yet as we know, no such move occurred, with Torino demanding €25m (£21m) for their skipper according to L’Interista.
With Tottenham losing out on numerous targets over January, this latest episode involving Belotti could infuriate Antonio Conte, who is a fan of the striker and was eager to bring him to north London as per L’Interista.
The forward, who has been compared to Jamie Vardy as per Sky Sports News, could have been a great option to partner Harry Kane in the attack, yet with Milan now in the picture and Belotti interested in the move, Tottenham look set to miss out on another target under Conte.
Conte must rethink Tottenham strategy with Milan eyeing Belotti

With Belotti the latest in a long line of missed opportunities for Tottenham, this latest bombshell from Milan shows that the Italian must re-think who Spurs can sign in the summer with targets becoming unavailable fast.
Indeed, Belotti would have been sensational under Conte, yet with the striker eyeing a move to Milan, Tottenham must move onto another striking target who could bring the best out of Harry Kane next season.
