Chris Sutton has said on The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 Live that Newcastle United winger Ryan Fraser has now changed for the better.

The former Celtic and Chelsea striker believes that Fraser has looked very confident in his last two games for Newcastle.

The BBC Sport pundit has said that the 27-year-old winger had lost his way at Newcastle.

Sutton said about Fraser on The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 Live: “Ryan Fraser had lost his way at Newcastle up until the last couple of games where he looks a confident player again.”

Ryan Fraser back in form for Newcastle United

In our view, Fraser will play a big role for Newcastle in their quest to escape the dreaded drop to the Championship at the end of the season.

Eddie Howe’s side are doing well at the moment and are winning games.

Newcastle are not out of the woods yet, but they are now building a considerable gap between themselves and the Premier League bottom three.

Fraser moved to Newcastle on a free transfer in the summer of 2020.

Things have not been great for the winger at St. James’ Park, but there are some positive signs at the moment.

Newcastle manager Howe worked with Fraser at Bournemouth, and he will know how to get the best out of the Scotland international.

Fraser is only 27, and he has some of his best years ahead of him.

The Newcastle no. 21 has made 11 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season.

Fraser has scored one goal and given one assist in those games.
