Chris Sutton has said on The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 Live (8:50pm, February 14, 2022) that Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin is “an incredible player”.
The former Celtic and Chelsea striker believes that Saint-Maximin plays a different game to most other Premier League players.
The BBC Sport pundit has been impressed by how the Newcastle winger gets past opposition players with ease.
Sutton said about Saint-Maximin on The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 Live (8:50pm, February 14, 2022): “He is an incredible player. He really really is.
“It looks like he is playing a different game to most other Premier League players, the way he goes past defenders.”

Allan Saint-Maximin is a big player for Newcastle
In our view, Saint-Maximin is a key player for Newcastle and is arguably the most important footballer at the club.
The winger is brilliant to watch and is a maverick, and he could be massive for Newcastle in their quest to avoid the dreaded drop to the Championship at the end of the season.
As Sutton notes, Saint-Maximin can get past players with ease, and he can also connect well with his teammates.
What has been very encouraging for the £16.5 million winger (Sky Sports) is that he has added more goals to his game.
Saint-Maximin has scored five goals and provided three assists in 22 Premier League starts for the Magpies so far this season.
The 24-year-old Frenchman scored three goals and gave four assists in 19 league starts for Newcastle last season.
