Speaking on the BBC Transfer Gossip Daily Podcast, David Ornstein has shared what he’s heard about Tottenham Hotspur and their interest in Luis Diaz.
The London club have reportedly submitted an offer for the Colombian in recent days, and Ornstein is also led to believe that Spurs are fans of Diaz.
However, the journalist states that Diaz isn’t Spurs’ top target. He claims that the London club have a number of irons in the fire, while he’s also been told that there are some targets that are above Diaz on Spurs’ wish list.
What’s Ornstein said about Diaz?
The reporter shared what he knows about this situation.
“I think Tottenham have a lot of irons in a lot of fires. Diaz is one of the players they like, but there are numerous players, and I’m told that there are perhaps even some ahead of him on their wish list, so it could be that this has come out now and in coming days we’ll see others emerge, and then when the player signs you’ll get that statement that they were always the top target,” Ornstein said.
