Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Rangers are interested in signing Crysencio Summerville from Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United in the January transfer window, according to The Scottish Daily Mail (01 January; printed edition, page 112).
The report has claimed that Rangers want to bring Summerville to Ibrox on a loan deal this month.
Then Rangers manager Steven Gerrard, now at Premier League club Aston Villa, wanted to sign the winger for the Gers back in 2020, according to the report.
Crysencio Summerville was then at Feyenoord and moved to Leeds instead, and now Van Bronckhorst reportedly wants to being his Dutch compatriot to Ibrox.
Crysencio Summerville to leave Leeds for Rangers?
In our opinion, leaving Leeds for Rangers on a loan deal until the end of the season is not a bad idea for Summerville.
The 20-year-old winger is not getting much playing time at Leeds, who are also in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Rangers won the Scottish Premiership title last season and could win it again this campaign.
The Gers are in Europe as well.
And Van Bronckhorst reportedly wants him.
So, in our view, Crysencio Summerville would be playing in a very competitive environment, and he should seriously consider a loan transfer to Rangers.
