Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur are confident of having Hugo Lloris as part of Antonio Conte’s Spurs squad for one more season.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Spurs are in talks with Lloris over extending his contract until June 2023.
The 35-year-old goalkeeper is out of contract at Spurs in the summer of 2022.
Romano has said that Spurs head coach Conte has approved a new one-year deal for Lloris.

Yes, Lloris is 35 now, but he remains an important player for Conte and is a regular in the team.
Tottenham boss Conte has spoken highly of the France international on a number of occasions.
Now, it will be interesting to see what Lloris wants to do.
Would the Frenchman be happy with just a one-year deal?
Could Lloris be looking for a two-year contract for his own security?
Lloris has been superb for Spurs over the years, and it would be great for the fans if he extends his stay at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
