Paul Merson has said on Sportskeeda that Liverpool forward Said Mane could really hurt Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will take on Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in London in the Premier League on Sunday.

Sky Sports pundit believes that Klopp will include Senegal international forward Mane in his starting lineup for Liverpool.

The former Arsenal star believes that Chelsea have a problem with pace, and that is how the £34 million Mane (BBC Sport) could hurt them.

Merson wrote on SportsKeeda: “Pace at the back is Chelsea’s Achilles heel, which is why I’d fancy Sadio Mane to get the nod once again. Jurgen Klopp could call upon Roberto Firmino, but I think the Senegalese winger will start and look to return to form.”

Sadio Mane will be big for Liverpool v Chelsea

Chelsea have not been at their best for a while now, and Liverpool will know that they can win against the Blues.

Even at Stamford Bridge.

In our view, Mane is a very important player for Liverpool who will be massive against Chelsea.

The former Southampton star’s pace and skills could really affect Chelsea.

Liverpool are in better form at the moment and are also scoring a lot.

Mane has scored seven goals and provided one assist in 18 Premier League starts for Liverpool so far this season.

The Liverpool no. 10 has scored two goals in five Champions League starts so far this campaign.
