Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are both interested in Juventus’ Dejan Kulusevski.

The two North London clubs are reportedly duking it out to sign the 21-year-old in January.

Arsenal and Tottenham have been heavily linked to the player in recent months.

But it looks like Spurs might be favourites over the Gunners.

La Stampa in Italy have reported that the Lilywhites are in pole position to win the race for Kulusevski.

Tottenham, who are lining up a £29 million bid, have a big advantage in the form of Fabio Paratici, who brought him to Turin and now looks desperate to re-sign the winger next month.

La Stampa mention Paratici’s influence and Arsenal’s reported interest, with the report claiming Juve could sell the young Swede to finance a move for Gianluca Scamacca.

Blow for Arsenal

If Tottenham wind up signing him, it’s definitely a blow for Arsenal.

Delegates of the Emirates Stadium club are reported to have travelled to Italy to hold talks regarding Kulusevski a little earlier in December.

That indicates that Arsenal’s interest is genuine.

But with Paratici – Spurs’ managing director – signing him in Italy, there’s an underlying relationship there between him and Kulusevski.

And it looks like that could be a defining factor.
