Graeme Souness has praised Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli on Sky Sports Premier League (5:17pm, December 18, 2021).

The Liverpool legend believes that Martinelli is a very dangerous player, and thinks that he is a rising star at Arsenal.

The Sky Sports pundit has outlined the attributes of Martinelli.

Praise for Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli

Souness said about Martinelli: “I like him. When I have seen him play, he looks lively. He is dangerous, he is quick, he is enthusiastic. He is a young man who will be a star man in our game.”

Arsenal gem

In our opinion, Souness is right about Martinelli.

We also think that the 20-year-old is an Arsenal gem and will be a star in the Premier League.

Martinelli has had bad injury problems already in his career, but he is now fit and playing regularly for Arsenal.

And we are seeing what he is capable of.

The 20-year-old scored two brilliant goals for Arsenal in their 4-1 win against Leeds United at Elland Road in the Premier League at the weekend.

Martinelli was a problem for the Leeds defenders with his running, pace and skills.

The Arsenal no. 35 has scored four goals and provided two assists in seven Premier League starts so far this season.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is not in the Arsenal team at the moment, and that is a big reason why Martinelli is getting chances.

In our opinion, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta should continue to use Martinelli.
