Antonio Conte has revealed to Tottenham Hotspur’s official app that Sergio Reguilon continues to suffer with an injury problem and is a doubt for their game against Leicester City.
No Reguilon?
Reguilon had to come off early in Tottenham’s last game against Leeds United, with Ryan Sessegnon replacing him in the first-half.
After the game both Reguilon and Conte said that the problem was not a serious one and the Spaniard was due back in just a few days.
However, it has now been over a week since Tottenham last played and Reguilon is still not back to full health.
The full-back has been back in light training, but has not convinced Conte that he has entirely shaken off his injury yet.
“We have a little problem with Sergio,” he said. “He is having training sessions, but we don’t know if he’s fit 100% for tomorrow’s game.”
Worrying news
If Reguilon does miss out it could be a major blow to Tottenham as he has been so key under Conte so far.
The rampaging wing-back has been one of the first names on the team-sheet and has given a big contribution in an attacking sense.

Reguilon has provided a goal and an assist in his last two Tottenham outings.
If he does miss out against Leicester it seems most likely that Ryan Sessegnon will step in.
Conte has taken a shine to Sessegnon since taking charge, and has consistently talked up the youngster.
He got sent off against Mura, but proved his quality in Tottenham’s last game against Norwich City and if he could produce a performance of a similar standard tonight he could even start to put some pressure on Reguilon’s starting spot.
