Alasdair Gold has said on his Youtube channel that Tottenham Hotspur’s Sergio Reguilon may well be out of their game against Leicester City on Thursday.
Out for Leicester?
Reguilon was forced to come off early in Tottenham’s last game against Norwich City, but the Spaniard insisted afterwards that his problem was not severe.
He said that he would be back in a few days in a message on social media.
However, that hasn’t proved to be the case, according to Gold, who says that Reguilon still isn’t back in full training.
Given that the Norwich game happened 10 days ago, it seems that the injury problem is worse than first feared.
And that could be a concern, with Tottenham set to play again in just over 24 hours time.
“I am told that Sergio Reguilon is not fully training yet after that one (his injury against Norwich), he is on his way back but I just wonder if Thursday might come too soon,” Gold said.
Big worry?

If Tottenham are to miss out on having Reguilon available then it will be a big worry.
The flying left wing-back has been a key player under Antonio Conte to date, and has contributed with a goal and an assist in his last two full games.
His attacking talents have really come to the fore after being given a more advanced role.
If Reguilon does miss out then it could be that Ryan Sessegnon steps in.
Conte has spoken very positively about Sessegnon, but his performances to date in a Spurs shirt have been mixed.
He was sent off against Mura in the Europa League recently, but he did impress after being brought off the bench against Norwich.
Sessegnon really does seem to be playing for his Spurs future at the moment and if he is given another chance against Leicester he will be under significant pressure to impress.
