Rangers continued their incredible run of form under Giovanni van Bronckhorst after a 2-0 win against St Johnstone, with Joe Aribo once again a shining light for the Bears.
The 25-year-old midfielder was on top form for the Glasgow giants as Rangers cruised to another routine win in the Scottish Premiership, yet it was Aribo who fans were raving about at full-time.
Goals from Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent secured the three points for Rangers. And with Celtic claiming a dramatic late win against Ross County, the SPL title race is well-underway between the two Scottish giants.
Indeed, it is hard to separate the two sides. Whilst Rangers have a four-point lead over Celtic, it will be some test for the blue half of Glasgow to maintain this incredible form under their new Dutch manager.
Yet with Aribo in inspired form, Rangers could well continue this unbeaten run if the Nigerian proceeds to replicate his performances against St Johnstone last night in upcoming games.
Indeed, the former Charlton Athletic star has been incredible under Van Bronckhorst. And whilst Aribo didn’t bag a goal or an assist, the 25-year-old was simply phenomenal against St Johnstone, with a touch to control the ball going viral on social media.
Aribo stopped a high ball dead in it’s tracks with one of the most perfect touches seen in football this season. And that was just one of the magical moments the midfield maestro produced last night.
