Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s agent posted a few pictures on his Instagram story.
What’s Aubameyang’s agent done?
On any other day, Aubameyang’s agent’s post wouldn’t have been of any note.
He simply posted three images of Aubameyang lifting the FA Cup the Community Shield and the Premier League Golden Boot.
Now, this could just be an innocuous celebration of his client’s achievements over the past few years. After all, Aubameyang deserves to be praised for his accomplishments, but the fact that this Instagram post emerged shortly after the Gabon striker was stripped of the Arsenal captaincy doesn’t seem to be a coincidence.
No coincidence
As we say, Aubameyang’s agent may have just been sharing three photos of his client that he likes, but the timing is rather suspicious.
We find it extremely hard to believe that this wasn’t a purposeful reminder to Arsenal and the manager just how pivotal Aubameyang has been to Arsenal’s success in recent years and how good he can be.
We don’t know the ins and outs of the disciplinary breach that Aubameyang is being punished for by Mikel Arteta, but things do seem to be turning rather sour.
Fan reaction
Understandably, Arsenal fans had plenty to say about this post, and many of them weren’t happy with this type of behaviour online.
To be honest, we can understand why. Aubameyang hasn’t been in the best form as of late and the fan sentiment towards him isn’t the most positive right now.
