Rafa Benitez wants Guus Til at Everton with Premier League rivals West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers also chasing the Feyenoord star, as reported by TEAMtalk.
If there was one moment that summed up everything good about Til, it occurred about eight minutes into Feyenoord’s 5-0 Eredivisie thrashing of Fortuna Sittard earlier this month.
Breaking into the penalty area like Frank Lampard in his pomp, the 23-year-old controlled a loose ball, shifted it away from a nearby defender and, as the Fortuna ‘keeper raced off the goal-line, kept his composure to lift a beautifully delicate finish into the back of the net.
In all competitions, Til has scored 15 goals in 27 games since returning to Holland on loan from Russian giants Spartak Moscow.
When you consider that the central midfield options at Benitez’s disposal at Everton have notched a grand total of three between them, you don’t need a UEFA A lisence to realise what Til would bring to Goodison Park.
Could Everton win the race for Guus Til?
The former AZ Alkmaar captain, who moved to Moscow in a £15 million deal two years ago, is also a target for (deep breath) West Ham, Southampton, Crystal Palace, Wolves, Brighton, Brentford and Watford.
Interestingly, Til has scored more goals on his own than Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton have managed in 16 Premier League games.
The Saints have lacked firepower since Danny Ings’ summer departure.

Southampton are positively prolific compared to Bruno Lage’s Wolves, however (12 goals in 16 games).
Many at Molineux are crying out for a midfielder capable of offering some attacking thrust in central areas. Someone capable of complementing the vision and craft of the deep-lying Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves.
TEAMtalk do point out, however, that Til plans to stay in Holland until the end of the season.
He is desperate to feature for the Netherlands at next year’s Qatar World Cup. Playing – and scoring – regularly at Feyenoord will do his chances no harm at all.
