Adem Zorgane continues to enhance his reputation over in Belgium with Wolverhampton Wanderers keen to bring the midfielder to the Premier League, as reported by Sporza

Franky Van der Elst said it best.

Zorgane, when rolling through his usual repertoire of inch-perfect passes and surging runs, is a ‘beautiful footballer’, a silky-smooth central midfielder who would make the ride of a Rolls Royce seem rickety by comparison.

The Algeria international has been one of the breakthrough stars of the current Jupiler League season.

So much so that, according to Voetbal Krant, Bruno Lage’s Wolves are lining up a potential £7 million deal with the January transfer window just three weeks away.

Will Adem Zorgane be Wolves’ first January signing?

“He played a wonderful game,” said Van der Elst, a veteran of 86 Belgium caps.

Van der Elst, by the way, is referring to Charleroi’s 3-0 victory away from home at Liege rivals Standard on Monday night.

Zorgane was the driving force behind a famous win for the visitors, orchestrating play from the middle of the park and forcing the opposition to dance to his jaunty tune.

“He is a beautiful footballer, who can play one touch, who can dribble, who can hold people off and win his duels,” Van der Elst adds.

“And then he also provides nice diagonal balls. It looks simple, what he does.

“He is a discovery. Firstly for Charleroi, but also for us.”

Zorgane only moved to Europe from Algerian outfit Paradou AC in July.

But with Wolves and a number of clubs from across the continent taking an interest already, the all-action 21-year-old may be on the move again before long.

Athletic yet elegant, powerful yet purposeful, Zorgane is something of a mix between Ruben Neves and Leander Dendoncker.

Wolves fans will be hoping he brings the best of both to the table; Neves’ passing range and Dendoncker’s boundless reserves of energy.
