Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are absolutely determined to sign Tottenham Hotspur target Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina, according to Sport Mediaset.
Arsenal interest in Dusan Vlahovic
The Italian news outlet has reported that Arsenal have an offer of €80 million (£68.39 million) ready for the 21-year-old striker.
That would make the striker Arsenal’s second-most expensive signing ever after Nicolas Pepe, who cost £72 million.
The Gunners want to bring the striker to the Emirates Stadium in the January transfer window.
Arsenal are keen on convincing Vlahovic – described as “outstanding” by Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic on FIFA’s official website in November 2021 -about the project at the club.
However, Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan are also keen on Vlahovic, according to the report,
Corriere dello Sport (print edition, page 18, November 14, 2021) reported that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur were leading the race for Vlahovic.

Making Arsenal better
In our opinion, Vlahovic is one of the best and most promising young strikers in Europe.
And we think that the Serbia international would make Arsenal a better and more potent team upfront.
The Fiorentina no. 9 has scored 13 goals and provided two assists in 16 Serie A games so far this season.
Vlahovic scored 21 goals and gave three assists in 34 league starts last season.
