Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are leading the race for Arsenal target Dusan Vlahovic, according to Corriere dello Sport (print edition, page 18, November 14, 2021).
What’s the story?
It has been reported by the Italian news outlet that Tottenham are at the front of the queue for Fiorentina striker Vlahovic.
Spurs have reportedly stepped up their interest in the 21-year-old and are now ready to beat Arsenal and Manchester City to the signature of the Serbia international.
Italian club Juventus are also keen on Vlahovic, described as “outstanding” by Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic on FIFA’s official website this month.
Blow for Arsenal
This report in Corriere dello Sport (print edition, page 18, November 14, 2021) on Vlahovic will come as a blow for Arsenal.
After all, not so long ago, it was reported that Arsenal could bring the striker to the Emirates Stadium in the January transfer window.
Gianluca Di Marzio reported earlier this month that the Gunners were close to reaching an agreement with Fiorentina over the signing of the youngster.

Remember, Spurs have Antonio Conte as their manager and Fabio Paratici as their managing director of football.
That could convince Vlahovic to move to Spurs, given that the Italian duo would know how to get the best out of a young striker coming from Serie A.
The Fiorentina no. 9 has scored eight goals and provided one assist in Serie A so far this season.
