Speaking on The Beautiful Game Podcast, Aston Villa youngster Keinan Davis has been speaking about his style of play.
The striker is only 23 years old, and he hasn’t really had that many chances to play senior football as of yet.
Therefore, fans may not know too much about him, so on the podcast, he was asked to compare himself to other strikers.
What’s been said?
Davis was asked who he idolised when he was younger and who he models his game on now.
“Growing up as well, obviously Thierry Henry and then when I got a bit older Daniel Sturridge, as a striker he has that flair as well, so definitely. I was always watching football and trying to learn stuff,” Davis said.
“Who do you model your game on today in the Premier League? Who do you look at and think that’s the level I need to get to,” The host asked.
“A direct comparison would be kind of like Lukaku. He can hold it up and he’s got a stepover in him as well, he’s scoring goals as well, so I’d say him to be fair,” Davis responded.

Exciting
It doesn’t get much more exciting than a player who wants to be a cross of Thierry Henry, Romelu Lukaku and Daniel Sturridge.
Unfortunately, Davis has been struggling with injuries as of late, but once he’s back in the side, Steven Gerrard may want to have a real look at this player.
Davis is apparently someone Gerrard rates. It was reported last week that he’s a fan, and he even reportedly tried to sign him for Rangers, so don’t be too shocked if we see the striker given a shot in the not so distant future.
