Gianluca Di Marzio has suggested to Sky Sports that Tottenham Hotspur would like to sign Dusan Vlahovic, but any deal is unlikely to happen in January.
No January deal?
Tottenham have been strongly linked with the Fiorentina striker both before and after Antonio Conte’s arrival.
He appears to be one of their top choice strike-targets, as they look to add more strength up-front.
But Di Marzio suggests that any Spurs fans hoping that a transfer for the Serbian is imminent may be disappointed.
“The only Premier League club who wanted Vlahovic were Arsenal, but the agents didn’t want to speak or sit down to listen to the project to find a deal,” he said.
“Other clubs which came to Fiorentina for the moment doesn’t arrive, so I don’t think it’s easy for Vlahovic to go in January to the Premier League.
“Juventus would like to have him, Tottenham would like to have him, Dortmund if Haaland goes somewhere.
“It will be one of the most important players in the summer, but I think Juventus [is most likely to sign him] he’s the first target of Juventus.”

Strong signing?
If Vlahovic was to arrive at Tottenham he certainly could be an appealing addition.
The striker could be available at a cut price, as Fiorentina haven’t been able to agree a contract extension.
Vlahovic has been one of the stand out players in Serie A over the last two years.
The 21-year-old ranked among the top scorers last term and now has 12 goals in 15 games this time around.
His arrival at Tottenham would give Conte some serious firepower to work with.
But it seems Spurs could have some serious competition from a number of European heavyweights if they do make a move for the forward, who Emanuele Giaccherini insists is already worth ‘more than £100 million’ (DAZN).
