Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou hopes to have Nir Bitton and Tom Rogic back in the starting XI for their Scottish Premiership game at home to Hearts.
The Hoops are hopeful of positive news on the injury front before their match on Thursday.
They bounced back from their Europa League loss to Bayer Leverkusen with a 2-1 win over Aberdeen yesterday.
Jota opened the scoring on 20 minutes, only for Celtic to be pegged back by a Lewis Ferguson penalty shortly after. However, Celtic dug deep to earn the three points through a bizarre Callum McGregor goal.
The Glasgow giants remain unbeaten in eight games in the league and will look to extend that run against Hearts.
Celtic boss wants Bitton and Rogic back for Hearts clash
Bitton limped off against Bayer Leverkusen last Thursday and wasn’t risked against Aberdeen. Rogic, meanwhile, has been out with a hamstring injury but is closing in on a return to action.
Speaking after the Aberdeen clash, Postecoglou told the club’s official website: “With a bit of luck, Nir Bitton should be available (against Hearts) and Tom Rogic will be back. Carl Starfelt and Greg Taylor aren’t far away either.
“We are getting some bodies back and we need them as it’s a heavy schedule and we don’t want our performance level to drop.”

Hearts go into the game on the back of a 2-0 win at home to St Mirren. However, Robbie Neilson’s side haven’t won away since August in a spell spanning five games.
Celtic will feel confident after their Aberdeen triumph and eager to close the gap on arch rivals Rangers at the top. That gap currently stands at four points.
