Dion Dublin has said on BBC Sport that Arsene Wenger returning to Arsenal would be great for current Gunners manager Mikel Arteta.

The former Manchester United player believes that bringing Wenger back to Arsenal is a “no-brainer” for the North London club.

The BBC Sport pundit has added that Arsenal manager Arteta could learn a lot from the Frenchman.

Arteta said last week that he is planning to bring Wenger back to Arsenal in some capacity.

That plan has left some Arsenal fans delighted, and Dublin believes that it is a great idea.

Wenger could help Arsenal and Arteta

Wenger is an Arsenal legend.

In fact, the Frenchman is a Premier League and global footballing legend.

Now, we know that Wenger’s final years at Arsenal ended in disappointment.

But it does not take away anything from what Wenger achieved at Arsenal.

Bringing back the 72-year-old to Arsenal can only benefit the club and Arteta.

Yes, Arteta is doing well at the moment, but we should not forget that he is a very new manager.

Arteta is just starting his managerial career.

Having someone as experienced and knowledgeable as Wenger can only help the Spaniard.

And Arsenal.
