Paul Merson has predicted on SportsKeeda that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will drop Diogo Jota when Roberto Firmino is back from injury.
The former Arsenal star has raved about Jota, who has been playing well for Liverpool in recent weeks.
Brazil international forward Firmino is still recovering from a thigh injury.
The Mirror have reported that the 30-year-old is not expected to be back in action until mid-December.
Sky Sports pundit Merson believes that when Firmino is back in action, Liverpool manager Klopp will drop Jota.
Merson has also predicted Liverpool to win 3-0 against Everton in the Premier League this week.
Liverpool will take on Everton away from home at Goodison Park in the Merseyside derby on Wednesday.

Paul Merson’s verdict on Jota and Firmino
Merson wrote on Sportskeeda: “I don’t think Everton have enough to hurt Liverpool at the moment.
“They’ve had huge injury issues in the Premier League this season and they’ll need to work hard to get a result here. The gap between the two Merseyside clubs is massive.
“I think what Diogo Jota’s done at Liverpool is brilliant. Roberto Firmino is usually the gel that binds the front three together, and I still think he’ll play the bigger games when he’s back.
“At the moment, however, I can’t talk highly enough of Jota. Liverpool have far too much quality for Everton and should be able to win this Premier League match.”

Roberto Firmino for Diogo Jota?
Merson is not the first pundit to say that Klopp prefers Firmino to Jota.
Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has also said something similar.
Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah have been playing together for years.
So, we understand why Klopp would want to keep that front-three intact.
However, in our opinion, Jota is making himself just as important as Firmino now.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderers forward is scoring goals and linking up well with his attacking teammates.
The Liverpool no. 20 has scored seven goals in 10 Premier League starts so far this season.
