Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been reacting after Fabrizio Romano reported that Antonio Conte wants to give Dele Alli a big chance to prove himself.
Romano claims that Conte is convinced that Alli can be a top player for a top club and he states that the Italian is willing to give him a big opportunity to showcase his talents.
While Conte may believe in Alli, it seems as though the Spurs fanbase don’t have the same opinion, and, sadly, it’s not hard to understand why.
It’s been almost three years since we’ve seen Alli playing his best football and some very talented managers have tried and failed to get the best out of him.
However, Conte is yet to have a crack at it and if any manager can work a miracle, it’s the Italian.
