Speaking on the Done Deal Show, Dean Jones has been speaking about the future of Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger.
The journalist has delivered quite a bombshell on the German defender. He says that it now looks likely that the £29m man will leave Chelsea on a free transfer, while he also claims that Tottenham are the only English team in for him, despite recent links to Liverpool.
What’s been said?
Jones shared what he knows about Rudiger.
“I don’t see Rudiger signing one at this stage it’s looking very unlikely that Rudiger signs on,” Jones said.
“It’s a very interesting time and obviously he’s pushing for every penny he can get on his wages, so it’s hard to develop talks.
“It does look likely that Rudiger will leave and the big decision really is which club he picks, the only real English target right now is Tottenham then he has PSG, Real Madrid and others abroad.”

Coup
Regardless of whether or not you think Tottenham need to add any more defenders to their squad, signing Rudiger on a free would be a real coup.
The centre-back is one of Europe’s premier talents. He’s a Germany international, a Champions League winner and a mainstay in this Chelsea side.
This is a player who should be worth millions of pounds and Spurs have the chance to sign him for free.
Fingers crossed the north London outfit will be able to beat the likes of PSG and Real Madrid to his signature this summer.
