Antonio Conte has barely been at Tottenham for a week, yet the Italian coach has already been won over by academy graduate Oliver Skipp in training.

According to Football London, the England U-21 international has already left a huge impression on the new Spurs boss. With Conte said to be a big fan of Skipp after just a few days together in training.

Skipp has been a key player for Spurs this season. With the youngster starting all but two Premier League games this campaign as well as both of Conte’s first matches in charge.

Indeed, Skipp was sensational for Norwich City in the Championship last campaign, and the 21-year-old has now caught the eye of Conte in training for the north London side.

The midfielder is one of the top talents coming through at Tottenham. And this season has seen Skipp assert himself as one of the club’s key players in the midfield for both Conte and Nuno Espirito Santo.
