Liverpool take on Manchester United in the Premier League today and may now battle for the signature of FC Dallas teenager Ricardo Pepi.

That’s according to The Mirror, who claim that Liverpool face a real battle to sign the teenage attacker.

Manchester United are believed to have joined the race to sign Pepi, who wants to leave FC Dallas for a move to Europe in 2022.

Brentford and Brighton are also keen too though, whilst there are a number of European clubs who want to sign Pepi too.

The teenager is being tipped for a huge future, earning massive comparisons as a result of his performances in America.

The Athletic claim that coaches compare Pepi to former Manchester City hitman Edin Dzeko, who has excelled in Germany, England and Italy.
