Ben White was given a rough welcome to life at Arsenal when the £50m arrival from Brighton and Hove Albion was completely embarrassed by Ivan Toney, and the Brentford star was at it again last night against Chelsea.

The Bees star led the attack against their west London rivals as Thomas Frank’s side were unable to break down the Blues. Brentford were, on paper, all over Chelsea.

The hosts managed seven shots on target compared to Chelsea’s one, yet Ben Chilwell’s goal was the difference on the night as Thomas Tuchel’s side returned to the top of the Premier League table.

Yet for Toney, it was another impressive showing from the Brentford star, with the striker winning nine of his ten aerial duels against Chelsea. And his performance brought flashbacks for Arsenal fans in the opening day of the season.

Toney was again a monster in the air that night as White had a debut to forget for the Gunners. Brentford won 2-0 on the night, with the striker’s presence being a key reason behind Brentford’s win.

Indeed, Toney has impressed against Liverpool and Wolves this season. And his performance against Chelsea was also one to remember despite not being able to get onto the scoresheet.
