Garth Crooks has raved about West Ham United striker Michail Antonio on BBC Sport after watching him in action against Leeds United at Elland Road.
The former Tottenham Hotspur forward has included Antonio in his Premier League Team of the Week for BBC Sport.
The Jamaica international striker scored a late winner, as the Hammers came from behind to beat Leeds 2-1 at Elland Road in the Premier League this past weekend.
BBC pundit Crooks has said that when he first saw Antonio play, he was “like a bull in a china shop”, and has been stunned by the transformation of the 31-year-old.
Crooks wrote on BBC Sport: “The ball from Antonio for Pablo Fornals earlier in West Ham’s game against Leeds was just brilliant but his finish was indicative of a striker on top of his game.
“He might have been player of the month for August but he was certainly man of the match against Leeds. The Jamaica international plays a very physical game but in front of goal there is also a touch of class as well.
“When I first saw Antonio play he was like a bull in a china shop. Now he looks like a match-winner. I suppose that’s what happens when you work at your game.”

Big player for West Ham
Antonio is a not a ‘natural’ striker and was playing as a right-back and a winger not so long ago.
However, the former Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest man is banging in the goals for fun at the moment and has established as the player to lead the line for the Hammers.
The West Ham no.9 has scored five goals and provided three assists in five Premier League games so far this season.
Antonio has also scored one goal in one Europa League game this campaign.
