‘Deserves Winks’ wages’: Some Spurs fans beg club to offer pay increase to talent amid reports

Oliver Skipp is reportedly in line to receive a wage increase from Tottenham if he pens a new contract with the club.

According to the Sun, the Spurs midfielder is set to be rewarded for his good form this season with a fresh deal. As per the report, Skipp’s current new contract will last until 2025.

Moreover, Skipp will see his wage increase by over 60%, the report stating that the midfielder will now earn £40,000-a-week. His current salary reportedly sits at £25,000-a-week.

The midfielder has been one of the breakout stars of the Premier League this season. Skipp has played every minute of league football this campaign with Tottenham making a solid start under Nuno Espirito Santo.

The England U-21 star was key to Norwich City’s promotion last season. Moreover, Skipp has continued his impressive form at boyhood club Spurs, and now the midfielder is set to be rewarded with an improved wage at Tottenham.
