Adama Traore was strongly linked with Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, but the winger is still at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Sun reported earlier this month that Tottenham had made not one but two bids for Traore.
However, Wolves turned down both of them.
Spurs were willing to pay as much as £30 million for the former Aston Villa winger, but Wolves wanted £50 million.
So, for an extra £20 million Tottenham missed out on a winger described as “unique” by former Wolves boss and current Spurs head coach Nuno in Football.London last month.
And Traore is now showing what Spurs are missing.

The winger has yet to score in the Premier League and does not have an assist to his name either.
However, the 25-year-old has created as many as 11 chances in the Premier League for Wolves so far this season, as you can see from this Monday Night Football (Sky Sports) graphic below.
As you can see, no Tottenham players are in the list.
That must be hugely disappointing for Spurs, and perhaps some fans will start to wonder whether club chairman Daniel Levy should have paid the extra £20 million that Wolves were looking for to sell Traore.
