Nuno’s Tottenham Hotspur will complete the signing of Emerson Royal from Barcelona on transfer deadline day, according to Goal.

Goal are reporting that Tottenham will pay Barcelona an initial transfer fee of £21 million to bring Emerson to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium today.
The 22-year-old Brazil international right-back will sign a five-year contract with Spurs.
The youngster initially did not want to leave Barcelona and wanted to stay at Camp Nou, but Spurs have convinced him to make the switch.

Barcelona exercised their option to bring Emerson from Real Betis only this summer.
The player himself was reported to be living his dream of playing for Barca.

Emerson is a very good right-back who is only 22, which means that he will get better in the coming years.
If the right-back completes his move to Spurs, then he will compete with Serge Aurier, Matt Doherty and Japhet Tanganga for a place in the starting lineup and would give head coach Nuno another good option.
