Mundo Deportivo are reporting this morning (6am UK time) that Tottenham had a first offer for the 22-year-old Brazil international right-back already been turned down by Barcelona.
ESPN reported yesterday that Barcelona are expecting a second bid from Spurs for Emerson.
The report added that the La Liga club could cash in on the Brazilian if they are made a huge offer.
Mundo Deportivo have backed that claim this morning, stating in their report that although Barcelona intend to keep the youngster, they could study a big offer.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Emerson simply does not want to leave Barcelona for Tottenham before deadline day.
The Brazilian is reportedly living his dream playing for Barcelona and does not want that to end.
