Barcelona could sell Emerson Royal to Nuno’s Tottenham Hotspur, according to ESPN.
What’s the story?
ESPN are reporting that Tottenham are keen on signing Emerson from Barcelona before the summer transfer window closes on Tuesday.
Tottenham have already made an opening bid of €20 million (£17.14m) plus Serge Aurier.
Barcelona have turned it down.
However, the La Liga club expect Spurs to make a new bid before deadline day on Tuesday.
Could Barcelona sell Emerson?
According to ESPN, Barcelona could sell Emerson to Tottenham.
However, for that to happen, according to the report, Spurs will have to make a ‘huge’ offer.
That’s the condition.
Barcelona have financial problems, and if Spurs raise their bid significantly, then the Spanish giants could sell the 22-year-old right-back.
How much exactly Barcelona would want for the Brazil international has not been mentioned.

Could a Tottenham transfer happen?
Tottenham seem very determined to sign Emerson.
Why else would Spurs offer cash and Aurier for the Brazilian?
For a transfer to happen, Tottenham will have to increase their offer and perhaps take Aurier out of the equation.
The problem with Spurs signing Emerson and keeping Aurier is that head coach Nuno will then have four right-backs.
Remember, Matt Doherty and Japhet Tanganga are already at Spurs.
