Harry Kane has reportedly accepted that he will stay at Tottenham this season with Manchester City yet to increase their offer for the attacker.
According to the Daily Mail, Kane is ‘ready to accept’ that he will stay with Tottenham for the 2021/22 campaign. The attacker has made just one substitute appearance so far this season.
As per the report, City can lure the attacker with a £150m offer, but it appears that the Premier League champions have turned their attention elsewhere.
City have been chasing Kane for the entire summer, but it appears that Daniel Levy’s efforts to keep the attacker have paid off for Tottenham. The forward has three years left on his current deal with Spurs.
Pep Guardiola viewed Kane as City’s only realistic attacking target this summer with Erling Haaland staying at Borussia Dortmund. And with under a week of the window left to go, the Manchester giants have to find an alternative.
Indeed, Kane staying at Tottenham will be a huge boost to the club and to Nuno Espirito Santo.

The north London side won both of their opening two Premier League games this season, and more business will likely be conducted before the end of the window.
As for City, they will likely make a mad dash to secure a replacement for Sergio Aguero. As it stands, Guardiola’s side just have one senior striker in their squad in the form of Gabriel Jesus.
