Fabrizio Romano has claimed on Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur are close to reaching an agreement with Celtic over the transfer of Joe Hart.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Tottenham are ready to let Hart leave and save money on his salary.
Scottish Premiership giants Celtic are interested in the former Manchester City goalkeeper.
An agreement is close to be reached for the English goalkeeper, according to Romano.
BBC Sport have also reported interest from Celtic in Hart.
Good move for all parties
Hart was the second-choice goalkeeper at Tottenham behind Hugo Lloris last season.

Pierluigi Gollini has joined Spurs on loan from Atalanta this summer, and the former Aston Villa goalkeeper will now compete with Lloris for a place in new head coach Nuno’s starting lineup.
There is no point in Spurs keeping Hart as the third-choice goalkeeper, especially as the 34-year-old is on £51,923 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.
Vasilis Barkas has not been a very good signing for Celtic, who could do with an experienced goalkeeper like Hart.
A move to Celtic would see Hart play regularly as well.
