Flamengo striker Gabriel Barbosa has been linked with Premier League moves in recent times – and he has now talked up both Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.
Barbosa was a sensation early into his career in Brazil, scoring 56 times in 154 games for Santos before signing for Inter Milan in 2016.
‘Gabigol’ struggled in Europe, failing to impress with Inter or on loan at Benfica, and had to return to Brazil to get his career back on track.
The 24-year-old smashed 43 goals in 59 games on loan before turning that move permanent last summer.
As a permanent Flamengo player, Barbosa has continued to be a goal machine with 45 goals in 60 games, and a move back to Europe could be on the radar again soon.
Tottenham were linked last summer whilst Barbosa allegedly rejected a move to West Ham in favour of joining Flamengo on a permanent basis.
Now, Barbosa has told The Sun that he loves the Premier League and would always play as English teams on PlayStation games, particularly admiring Thierry Henry, Didier Drogba, Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney.

Barbosa added that he thinks Tottenham are a ‘mega team’ and he really enjoyed watching West Ham last season, potentially opening the door to join either club in the future.
“I also played a lot of PlayStation with English teams and that made me like it even more. I always saw the goals of Thierry Henry – I thought he was a very powerful, strong and intelligent striker,” said Barbosa. “Didier Drogba I liked a lot too. Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney at Manchester United. It’s a Championship where the best in the world play.”
“I still watch it now. I really like Pep Guardiola’s style at Manchester City, Chelsea managed to form a great team with Thomas Tuchel’s hands. Liverpool have a very interesting team and a fantastic coach. Tottenham is a mega team and I really enjoyed the West Ham season. I’m a big fan of Premier League football,” he added.
