Perry Groves told talkSPORT that Tottenham are ‘very lucky’ that Harry Kane’s agent is his own brother.
It was suggested by a talkSPORT caller that Kane’s brother, Charlie, is perhaps playing a part in the Tottenham striker wanting to push for a move to Manchester City.
The Telegraph recently claimed that Kane might opt against turning up for Tottenham training in order to force a move to the Etihad.
But with other controversial agents on the market, Groves suggested that Spurs should be grateful that Kane has a family member representing him.
“I think the reason Harry Kane stayed for one more season was because of Jose Mourinho,” said Groves.
“A Spurs fan was saying earlier that he thinks his brother has had it on.
“I think you are very lucky he has his brother as his agent. If you had Raiola or one of the other super agents.”

Well, a lot of things have been said and reported about Kane, and in truth, all will be revealed when he returns from his holiday’s at the start of August.
If Kane is lining up alongside his Spurs teammates at Hotspur Way then it will be music to the ears of supporters.
And the key thing is, whilst he is resting, Spurs have signed Heung-Min Son to a new contract, Pierluigi Gollini has joined, as well as Bryan Gill.
Plus, it doesn’t look like Spurs will stop there because it seems as though Cristian Romero is also edging closer to a move.
Either way, the Spurs boardroom are finally showcasing the ambition that had been missing in the transfer market in recent years.
