West Ham United have registered their interest in Liverpool central defender Nathaniel Phillips, according to The Athletic.
It has been reported that Liverpool value the defender at £15 million and will sell if a club make a suitable offer.
German outfit Bayer Leverkusen and Premier League side West Ham have ‘registered their interest’ in the 24-year-old Englishman.
Newcastle United, Brighton and Hove Albion and Burnley are also interested in Phillips.
Earlier this week, here on HITC Sport, we covered a report from Sky Sports about interest from the Hammers in Phillips.
It now seems that West Ham have actually registered their interest in the 24-year-old.

Good move for Nathaniel Phillips?
Phillips did well for Liverpool last season after getting his chance due to injury problems for Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip.
The central defender – described by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as “unbelievable” in Goal.com in April 2021 – scored one goal and gave one assist in 17 Premier League appearances.
The Liverpool no.47 also played thrice in the Champions League.

West Ham are a very ambitious club who will play in the Europa League next season.
David Moyes’s side will also be challenging for the Premier League top four next season.
With Van Dijk, Gomez and Matip all back from injury and Ibrahima Konate signed this summer, Phillips could struggle to even get into the Liverpool matchday squad next season.
