Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has allegedly been offered to both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur – and his choice may be easy if both go for him.

Abraham barely featured under Thomas Tuchel following the German’s arrival, and having missed out on Euro 2020 with England, he may need to move on for first-team action elsewhere.

The Telegraph now claim that Arsenal want to sign Abraham, and he has even been offered to rivals Tottenham, either by Chelsea or the striker’s representatives.

Chelsea allegedly value Abraham at £40million as they look to raise funds for Erling Haaland.

Much will depend on what Chelsea’s London rivals say, but both teams need a striker – and Abraham’s preference should be pretty clear.

Abraham may have been in the Chelsea ranks since 2004, joining as an under-eight, but he actually grew up supporting Arsenal.

“To be honest I was an Arsenal fan. It didn’t make any difference at Chelsea,” said Abraham in 2017. “When you’re young and you choose who to support, if it’s a family thing, it’s a family thing. Luckily for me it was a family thing, so it wasn’t really a problem at Chelsea.”

“Someone I looked up to was Thierry Henry. His variations of finishing, his movement, the way he dribbles… someone like that has a key impact on me. I would love to be as big as him and maybe even better,” he added.

If Arsenal do make a move to sign Abraham, you have to imagine that the lanky striker would jump at the chance to join the Gunners.

His love for the club goes back a long way, and whilst he has had to put that to one side whilst playing for Chelsea, his dream move could now happen.

That history may offer something of a dent to Tottenham, as convincing him to pick them over the Gunners may be a tough ask.

Let’s see whether either side come forward with a bid for Abraham, but Arsenal will surely be his top choice with a boyhood aspiration now a real possibility.
