Hadi Sacko has responded to the Instagram post from Leeds United and England international midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
Leeds star Phillips has posted an emotional message on Instagram after England’s defeat to Italy in the Euro 2020 final on Sunday night.
The Three Lions reached the final of the European Championship this summer.
It was the first time that England had advanced that far in a major competition since 1966.
The match on Sunday finished 1-1 after extra time, and Italy won the penalty shootout 3-2.
Phillips played a big role in England’s run to the final.
The Leeds star played seven times, made four attempts on goal, gave one assist, made 13 tackles, had a pass accuracy of 87%, made 32 ball recoveries, and covered 83km.
The Leeds star has posted a message on Instagram, and Sacko has responded to it.
The 27-year-old Mali international winger played with Phillips at Leeds before leaving the club in 2019.
Phillips played well for Leeds in the Premier League last season, and he showed this summer what he is capable of on the international stage.
The 25-year-old formed a strong partnership with West Ham United’s Declan Rice in the middle of the park for the Three Lions.
